I had following:
On 2950
=======
int fa0/25
switchport trunk
On 3750
=======
int gi1/0/1
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
Any help?
Thanks

As long as I remember the 2950 supports only ISL trunks. Try setting the trunk on the 3750 to ISL.
Let me know how it goes,

Try to issue the command show interface trunk
Check if the Trunking is ON and what is the encapsulation used on each switch.

2950's support dot1q. show log should produce useful information.

The 2950's only support dot1q . People seem to like to try and force the trunks on ,myself I prefer to let them negotiate and have never had a problem doing this , try on each side adding "switchport mode dynamic desirable " and this should bring the trunk up . Check your vtp settings , set both as transparent if that is the way you want it and the vtp domain name on each switch "MUST" match exactly for the trunkl to come up .
