Why is it that I cannot use the show interfaces trunk command on a c2924xl en switch.

The switch is running c2900xl-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC10.bin IOS.

The command is:

show interface interface-id switchport

Because that switch is so old it does not use the same commands as newer ios switches.

I know that they are supper old but that is all that I can aford to buy to get ready for CCNA.

Understood I am just telling you the reason , there are differences between that old 2924 and say a 2950 as far as commands go and you should keep that in mind if are studying for certs because I believe they base the tests on a 2950 or higher.
