Are you wanting to use it as source/destination for the tunnel termination, or are you just wanting to advertise the loopback over the tunnel?

hi John,

is to put in a next hop for route map, therefore, source / destination, is not it?

James,

You can apply a next-hop to a tunnel interface. For example if you have 2 ends of a tunnel:

192.168.1.1 - side A

192.168.1.2 - side B

Your route-map on side A can set a next-hop to 192.168.1.2 to force traffic over the tunnel if needed....

John
