hi everybody!

could anybody please explian if we can configure udld message timer in interface configuration mode i.e

switch(config-if) udld{ enable/aggressive/disable}

i dont see any message timer option in interface mode. Is it only avaiable in global configmode ? i.e

switch(config) udld {enable/aggressive/message time}

another question is how we disable the normal mode for example

switch(config)udld enable

should i disable it using no i.e

switch(config) no udld enable

how to turn off udld normal mode in interface mpde ? i.e

switch(config-if) udld enable

should i disable it using:

switch(config-if) udld enable disable

or

switch(config-if) udld disable.

Can we use "no" form to disable it? i.e

switch(config-if) no udld enable.

thanks a alot and have a nice day!

To enable UniDirectional Link Detection Protocol (UDLD) on the interface or enable UDLD in aggressive mode on the interface, use the udld port command in "Interface Configuration Mode". To return to the default settings, use the no form of this command.
