Unable to add QOS command

Hi,

I am unable to add the "service-policy output QOS" on a vlan interface on cisco 3925 router.

(Version 15.0(1r)M13, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1))

Was able to add the command on the vlan interface for our other cisco 3925 router with a different version.

(Version 15.0(1r)M16, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1))

Though the version is slightly different I don't think that is the reason.

Any thoughts?

I suggest opening a TAC case

I suggest opening a TAC case for this as I couldn't get my hands on a 3925 to test this, although policy looks simple enough and you already mentioned that it worked on M13 image. Possible candidate for may be a bug.

RS.

Hey,

Share the service-policy for more information also are you getting any syslog or error message while applying it?

Seems I will have to configure CAR.

Any other ideas?

Hey,Are you applying this

Hey,

Are you applying this configuration to the SVI of the physical interface of the router, also is it the onboard port on router or have you installed any serivce-modules where you are trying to configure it?

Yes it a SVI interface on the EHWIC I installed. I was able to apply the service-policy on the router at anohter office with the same settings.

Rajeev,

Please get back to me on this. I did the exact change at another office location yesterday with similar configuration and I again got the 'configuration failed!' error when trying to run the 'service-policy command.
