Unable to ping through bridge group on ACE

hi,

I have created two vlans on MSFC and assign to the ACE module. i.e. VLAN1 and 2.

VLAN1 is the client vlan with SVI defined. VLAN2 is the server vlan without SVI. VLAN1 and VLAN2 have been bridged via bridge group and BVI. Both vlans are of course part of the same subnet. Now, I am not able to ping a host in the same subnet in VLAN2 from MSFC or ACE module.

Any idea?

Hi

How did you configure routing to point to the subnet you are trying to get to? Have you pointed it to the BVI interface?

On the other hand I may be missing something here, but surelly the point of having VLANs is to create separate broadcast domains and therefore putting two different VLANs in the same IP range is not exactly what you see every day?
