Unable to verify the serial number of GBIC interface

Hi All,

I use Catalyst 3512 XL and unable to verify the serial number of GBIC interface.

Tried with show idprom or show inventory. both are not working with this switch.

Is there any other way to verify the serial number of GBIC?

I don't think so , that is an ancient switch and that capability was not built into the switches back then .
