Last Friday all my network went blank and I had to switch off/on both the Catalyst 4506 to get access. Then I receive e-mail from NMS stating that all my propvirtual was unresponsive at that time. Can anybody tell me what happen?

did you observe any logs on the switches during that time. If yes, can you share it with us?

I'm not sure which log you referring to but I have a Device Fault Manager logs on both catalyst.
Hope this is the right one.

I was referring to the "show log" command on the switches to check if any information is recorded in the log buffer of switches which indicates of any problem.
you can also check on the switches as which interface is assigned with .253 IP.

Can you detect it ?
Or is it not the right one?

i can see lot of traceback errors in the log which can be due to an IOS bug. Not sure if it occured at the time you have faced the problem or not as date and time stampings were not there for log event.
can u put output of "show stacks" and "show version" from your devices.

Hi,
I guess output of show version is incomplete.
Please paste the complete output of the show version command for analysis.

Sorry to say that is all there is. No more. After going through it seems that one of the switch is issues with redundancy as the switches are configure to load-balance and only certain Vlan was having problems. On the other switch it looks ok.
