Update ARP Table!!

Hi.

4 AP are installed in port POE of switch CE500. Using homing in APs, when notebook leaves a covering area of the AP1 and enters in the area of covering of the AP2 , the switch don't update arp table and the mac of notebooks appears in the 2 ports of CE500.What I can change in switch? They had asked for to me to down the STP, however I believe that this will not decide the problem, I find that this update of MAC who must make is AP. What do you think?

Thanks

Hi,

AP1 wont fwd the frame on the wireless media if the client is not associated to it. The frame will die there. On the switch, the MAC will be aged out after the configure timeout(default is 300 sec).

Does it cause any problem ?

With roaming process, the mac is associated in both interfaces ethernet.
