We need upgrade IOS for our several stack switches. I would like to use âauto-upgradeâ feature. I have two questions about it, I hope you could give me some ideas.
According to Cisco document, auto-upgrade is enable by default. But I found the member switches is disable. Could I enable it (boot auto-copy-sw) on member
switches before I upgrade IOS? Could I active it from master switch to type âboot auto-copy-swâ?
If members of switches is active about âauto-upgradeâ , could maser switch copy new IOS to members without any additional commands? If it could, do I need to change boot path manually?
Thanks

I think "auto-upgrade" is just applied when you have IOS mismatch in the stack. If you want to upgrade IOS of whole stack, the procedure in above link should be good.
