uplink ports in sup II +

hello

using 2 SUP II+ in a single 4507R. each SUP contains 2 GBIC. but one sup is active and the second is standby.

are the 4 GBIC active or just the 2 belonging to the actif SUP ?

Hi Friend,

Using a sup II+ and sup 4 according to the restrictions only Gig1/1 and Gig2/1 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces are available and the Gig1/2 and Gig2/2 uplink ports are unavailable.

If the redundant supervisors are Sup V {WS-X4516 } active and standby installed in the same chassis, the four uplink ports (Gig1/1, Gig2/1, Gig 1/2, and Gig2/2) are available.
