Upper limit to dot1q sub-interfaces on 2600?

Is there any restriction to the number of FastEthernet dot1q sub-interfaces you can configure on a 2600 series router?

Thanks!

Hi Steve,

It all depends upon the IDBs (Interface Descriptor Block) on each platform. But in general you will get enough that you can accomodate your requirement easily.

Check this link and it will give you the details or each and every platform

~800? Looks like about 750 more than I will ever need.

Thanks
