URL Filtering on 1811 performance issues

I was wanting to use the URL filtering in my 1811 router to block a couple of inappropriate websites an employee is accessing. I am able to do this by turning on the URL filtering, but performance suffers greatly. I get a message telling me that I should configure 'any any' ACL for the java applet scanner, but I'm not sure I know how to do that as I am new to configuring this router. Could this be the problem and if so, could someone give this poor newbie a cheat sheet to fix it? Thanks!

Hi Brandon0238,

My recommendation is to create an access-list to your router that will intercept all http traffic and forward it to a server/machine running a proxy server with URL filtering software installed.

In this way, the machine will filter the sites you wanted without degrading the performance of your router.
