hi,
I have the following topology.
A router (3750) connected with 2 ports :
1 port to another router
the second port to a L1 device that aggregate frames from many ports.
Now i need to operate teh router as a switch L2 toward that device in order to make the switching based on MAC
Is it possible ?
I heard i can use arp proxy .
Is there another way ?
Thanks
Yoram
Is the 3750 support it ?

Well, the 3750 is a switch so one idea would be to connect the devices directly to the switchports instead of using the one you call "L1 device", this way the ports will learn the MAC of those devices and they will belong to the same VLAN that by default is VLAN 1. The IP address that is currently on the second port will now be assigned to "interface vlan 1"
I'm not sure if what you are trying to achieve is something like this?

You can configuring bridging on the 3725 router (3750 is a switch).
