Using a 4510 to route as well as switch

I have a client that needs to replace their route. They have a 4510 switch and they asked if it would be able to be the main router as well. You used to be able to do this on the Catalyst 5xxx with an RSM module. With the 4500, it looks like the Netflow module may do the same thing. Does nyone know this for sure and if so, are there any other considerations?

Which supervisor are you running ?

The Netflow card does not do this but if you have a Netflow card sounds like you may well have a Supervisor V in your chassis. On the switch run

"sh module" and post result unless you happen to know the Supervisor.

The answer is yes the 4500 can do the same as the 5xxx with an RSM module.
