I have a internet link with 50 Mb speed and Mpls With 36 Mb but when i try to download or upload i am getting a speed of 100KB/s , this is happening very recently and i have access layer 6500 switches and distribution layer switches as 4900 on which routing is happening for vlans and the MPLS rouetrs are managed by vendor and the internet router is connected to 4900 switches , could some body help on this why the internet speed is very low
Have you done any config changes (e.g PBR) that can effect the upload or download speed?
If not, the easiest way to check is to connect a laptop/PC and connect to the edge router that connects to your provider. (this would eliminate all the other devices in the middle) and download and upload some files to see if you get faster speed. If it does help, than you need to figure out which one of your equipment is the bottleneck, if not call the service provider and ask them if they have made any changes and why the speed is slower then what you are paying for.
i have connecte a laptop to the 4900 device where my internet router is connected and i tried to download and upload files but still seems to be issue , no improvement the service provider came to site and checked the bandwidth and the cirucuit no issues were found
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
