Re: VLAN and VTP errors

Can you please attach your show version. This is a bug most likely or a corruption of vlan.dat.

Try deleting vlan.dat and rebooting see if the messages goes away.

I tryed to found any bug on this but without success.

Do you think that the vlan.dat it's corrupted in both the switches?

Best regards.

Re: VLAN and VTP errors

There is no bug filed for this version of code.

Is this traceback happening on both? or just one of them?

Can you try to remove your vlan.dat. Make sure to save your vlans as you will have to re-enter them.

Re: VLAN and VTP errors

It's happening on both.

Can the reason of this be that both switches are configured as vtp servers, in the same domain and with currently they have the same revision number?

Re: VLAN and VTP errors

its ok for both to be servers. revision matches that means they are up to date and vtp communication is OK.

Re: VLAN and VTP errors

true...

so the best for now it's proceed with the delete of the vlan database.
