Hi King,

Without assigning vlan to a switchport how can switch port belongs to a particular vlan.

Below link is useful.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4000/7.1/quick/software/guide/vlans.html

Thanks,

Satish

i want that i have pc with a static ip addres belongs to a vlan X at any switchport.

Hi King ,

Vlan1 is default one and no need to configure it for each and every port on switch.Create vlan1 and check it out.

Thanks,

Satish

yes , but i want create another vlans.and if i connect a pc to port, his ip address hwo decide for which vlan it belongs.

that i don't want to specify for each vlan his switchports.

i want that any switchport will belongs to any vlan.

Use the link below for configuring vlans on the switch.

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat4000/12_2_31a/config/vlans.htm

You can create multiple vlans on the switch and assign the ports to it. Create L3 interface for each vlan and use the same range of ip address for the hosts and the gateway for vlan will the IP address of L3 interface.
