VLAN Flapping Issue

Hi,

In my network Vlan1 is flapping frequently.

If a laptop is connected to network with two different ways. for ex:- Laptop is connected with rj-45 cable to switch A and laptop is also connected to access point and access point is in turn connected to same switch (A)so the PC is connected with switch on two different points to same network.

Will it flap the vlan1 in the network?

Regards

Mahi

Re: VLAN Flapping Issue

Hello Mahi,

It should not be the reason for vlan 1 flapping as wired NIC and wireless NIC card will have different mac addresses.

If issue still exists can you plz post the exact error message ?
