Here I have a situation related to Creating VLAN .
In my comapany having 20 Linksys srw 2024 Switches
Having1 ip ranges 126.96.36.199 - 188.8.131.52 . So all nodes are in same address range .
Need to create vlan in same ip range
VLAN - 10 - Account
VLAN - 20 - ERP Users
VLAN - 30 - HR
vlan 10 & 20 Sharing the same servers which are in vlan 10 . but after configuring this vlan .the users are in vlan 20 are not able to access the servers . i Just want that user have access to file & ERP server whic is in VLAN 10. Please Help.
A vlan corresponds to a subnet; so what you are trying to do does not make too much sense. If you assign users or servers to different vlans traffic needs to be routed from a vlan to another (meaning that they need to have different default gateways configured) meaning that L2 connectivity is not an option.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
