I thought the vlan information on a Cisco 4510 was contained in a separate file on the device....private-config ?? in the nvram. However I cannot copy this file to my bootflash or slot0: which I thought I did in previous IOS versions. Is this now out of date and the whole information for the 4510 is contained in the startup-config file? I am running IOS cat4500e-entservicesk9-mz.150-2.SGx on my 4510. If I try to copy the private-config file I get a persmission denied error. Thanks Maybe I am thinking it was the vlan.dat file but I no longer see that file either on my 4510 anywhere..other than copies I may have made.
