I have a number of vlans setup that control access and traffic through and across vlans, with no major issues so far.
The issue I have is when we try and image the systems on the vlan running an application called Drive Image Pro which is used to image systems to a server. The application needs to go across vlans to setup connection to the server, the system running the image software can connect to network but is unable to map a drive to the server, has anyone experienced this?? Access lists are in use to manage vlans, these maybe preventing intervlan traffic to setup path.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
