VLAN rate limit with Different ISP

hi,

in L3 switch 3560, we have a VLAN, that needs to be diverted between 2 ISPs. ( if one fails use another )

requirement is to

1: Limit the VLAN bandwidth to 1Mbps , if it goes via ISP1

2: Limit VLAN bandwidth to 512 Kbps , if  it goes via ISP 2.

please let me know if this is possible

thanks

We need more information on your setup, can you draw a quick diagram?

Are you routing between your 3560 and the ISP? Is there another router inbetween or is the 3560 doing it for you?

Thanks

from L3 switch it goes to Firewall and then to ISPs.

So as far as I know, we can rate limit the traffic in the L3 switch for specific VLAN.

But could we accomplish the variable bandwidth for the same VLAN on the L3 switch, without changing anything at the firewall?

thanks
