hey i have 1 doubt
suppose if i created vlan for 5 pc's,and i want to multicast message from my 1st pc to 3rd n 4th pc only,i dont want to send that message to pc 2 n 5,is it possible in my created vlan or i have to create another one? if possible then tell me the procedure?waiting 4 reply

Hello,
As long as you enable IGMP snooping and PC 3 & 4 join the multicast group,
only they will get the data (on a multicast capable switch). If the switch
is not capable of handling multicast traffic, then it will treat it as
broadcast and all ports (or all PC's) will get the traffic.
