VM Virtual Servers and Cisco Switches

I have been running into a problem lately with VM Virtual servers dropping packets or slow response times. No errors are showing on the switchport VM is connected to. I am thinking it might be a problem on the VM side, but I am not totally sure. Anybody run into this problem and if so, how did you resolve it. Thanks Jr.

Check the physical network card of the server and also the network speeds inside the VMs. Make sure the switch ports are set to full duplex or not.
