hey i got the answer, 3560 is only the VMPS client not a server.

but is still possible to create VMPS scenario, like do we have any third party or cisco software to make it done...?

Hi Dhaval,

As you already got the answer 3560 cannot be conmfigured as VMPS server. There is no 3rd party tool or cisco software which can work as VMPS server. You need some higher end switch only.

yes, even i didnt found any tool like that.

anyways thanks for taking interest.

Hi Dhaval,

If your switchs support dot1x, you can use it and a radius server to configure dynamic VLAn assignment.

I have a very sucessful working version of it on one of my customers networks.

I am quite happy to tell you how to do it if you like.

Stephen
