What is the "best practice" configuration when using VMware, MS NLB and Cisco?
The configuration looks like:
Two sites with 7600 in core and 4500 in aggregation.
There is L2 connectivity between the sites and between 7600 and 4500.
Alla routing is performed in the 7600 routers.
ESX servers is connected on both sites to redundant 4500 switches.
Virtual servers can move (vmotion) between the sites.
MS NLB is used on virtual servers with multicast enabled.
How should the switch configuration look like?
What communication equipment do i need to configure?
