Vmware running fully on Nexus 1000v

Hello,

We have a VMware evironment of 10 bladeservers.

We also installed redundant Nexus 1000v

We moved all interfaces to the Nexus on 8 bladeservers but not yet the two ESX servers which are running the Nexus 1000v and it's standby.

Next step is to migrate these two also.

My Question.

When we are fully migrated to Nexus 1000v and the total environment has to shutdown because of our Netapp storage upgrade, do we get problems with starting up the environment? (chicken and the egg situation with Nexus 1000v)

Of course we will first startup the Nexus 1000v primary ESX, do we need auto startup for the Nexus?

The Nexus vlan's, service console etc are all defined as system vlans on the nexu

Regards,

Henk
