Hi all, has anyone seen this before, I can vpn into my work place from home fine, when I give access to another company, they can connect to the vpn, they get a dhcp address etc, but when they try to ping the device i gave them access to, it does not work, but it works if i use the same account from home, any ideas what this could be ?
cheers

Hi,
It may have various reason either on client and server side. I had similar problem. One possible problem is the ip address assigned by the vpn server is filtered somewhere else by acl. Other reason can be the client is not working successfully. For instance when I used VPN client on XP somehow it was not able to add route to the PC's route table when connected to the VPN server.
Let's check the VPN client's log or make some ip packet debug on the VPN server.
