I am getting concerned about Ethernet connection message from my VSM regarding a link to an ESXi host, indicating a HALF DUPLEX mode for a 7Gbps connection. The ESXi host is connected via an HP Flex-10 VConnect module with virtual port splitting into non-standard speeds.
Could this in any way impact on the data throughput or performance of the link between the core network and the VEM on the host?
