i am deploying VSS and have follwoing equipment

cisco 6509E

Dual redudnant VS-S2T-10G

I have also ordered WS-X6908-10G-2T card for floor swicthes uplink

can someone pelase tell me how i shd do the cabling for VSS (between two switches)

1.  You need a VSS heartbeat link.  Recommend you use 1Gbps fibre.

2.  For VSS link, you can use the supervisor's on-board 10 Gbps link and/or combine with 6908 10 Gbps ports.

Hi Guroo,

You need a Tengig connection from each supervisor module on one chassis to other chassis. Only Tengig connections can be used as VSL links.
