VSS & ACE

Hi Experts,

This is my first time and, I am in a situation where I have to configure VSS between two 6509E & Load balancing using ACE.

I shall be grateful if someone can help me with step by step configuration of VSS and how does load balancing works with ACE module in 6509E.

there are no problems with the ACE modules running on an VSS.

as mentioned, you just have to choose the right IOS on the 6509 and

the right OS on the ACE.

Otherwise the ACE-Module will boot up, generate an error message

in the 6509 log, powers down and boot again. this happens in an indefinite

loop.

error message could look like this:

Minimum Version on the ACE is A2(1.3), but you should update the ACE

to Version A2(2.3), if it isnt allready updated.
