I like to create a L3 ether-channel b/w VSS switch (using MEC) and 7200 router. I like to run EIGRP on it. My router version does not support NSF on my router. router version is 12.4(23). Should I expect any downtime while one of chassis is going down?
What I am not clear is the bahaviour and impact if I don't use NSF under EIGRP on 7200. I know once a chassis is down then port-channel will take care of it any way but what about when chassis is not fully down but going through the process of going down.
