VSS - Enable the NSF-SSO feature for the IP Routing protocols? RIP?

Hi All

just a quick question about VSS, from the VSS configuration guide below.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps9336/products_tech_note09186a0080a7c74c.shtml#mig_path

check 11. c.

"Enable the NSF-SSO feature for the IP Routing  protocols used. VSS simplifies the routing configuration, so some of the  network statements are no longer required. "

the sample is for ospf, I check the other documents. they have samples about eigrp, ospf and BGP, but how about rip?

is rip nsf-aware? what could we do if we implement VSS in the network, and only routing protocol we used is rip?

just skip the step? any experience sharing is welcome.

thanks

Yuke
