Hi,

We have a two 6509 chassis in vss mode (122-33.SXI6).

Currently a 'redundancy force-switchover' takes 10 minutes to complete (before we can access switch on management IP).  We are running sso with nsf.  Is this expected given standad HSA and we arent/cant run  RPR/+.

Hi,

That is not the correct behavior.  When you issue "'redundancy force-switchover" it usually takes less than a second for the other switch to take over and become the primary switch.  Can you post your config?

HTH

Also, can you post the output of " show switch virt detail"?

Is this what you need ?

MAL2-PR-SW01-1#sh swi virtual role detail ?
