VTP Configuration Issue

I have configued My cisco 3750 switch new switch as VTP client and given proper vtp domain and password and save the config.

but when i reboot switch if see the configuration of VTP it came back to VTP SERVER MODE ....

why this is happening...

Hello Jitendra,

be aware that this kind of switch have two different places where to configure/store VTP config: the nvram:startup-config and the flash:vlan.dat.

The first is accessed from configure terminal the second is the vlan database and is accessed from privilege mode using

vlan or vlan database

You have probably changed the config in the startup-config then the vlan.dat file is read and vtp config is overwritten

(or it is the opposite: there are no details of your VTP config)
