Re: VTP Pruning help

Is this output from the switch you believe should have pruned the VLANs? (i.e and edge switch)?

If so, your fa0/2 port configured as a trunk will be sending out all VLANs (as the AP will not participate in VTP) so none will be pruned.

Setting a VLAN-allowed list on the fa 0/2 port may rectify it in this case.

Re: VTP Pruning help

Its like this

Core - (Po2)This Switch(f0/9) - Wireless AP

It is the Edge Switch.

The Wireless AP is confgiured for VLan's 140,150,160

The management vlan is 1

SO your saying I can do:

interface f0/9

switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,140,150,160

This will fix the problem ?
