vwic3-1mft-t1/e1 as ethernet routed port

Hi Guys

I just want to ask can I use vwic3-1mft-t1/e1 line card on my 2901 router as a typical ethernet routed port?

The  vwic3-1mft-t1/e1 is is serial card. While the connector looks like an Ethernet port this card does not use Ethernet technology. You can use it as a routed port if it connects to another device using a serial technology but not as an Ethernet port.
