On a Cat3750-X is it possibile to do Web-authentication proxy using local

authentication instead of RADIUS ?

If yes, did anyone have a working config ?

the doc does not mention local authentication ....

You may us the local user database on the switch.  Just change the aaa commands to evaluate it.

aaa authentication login default group local

Chris

thx Chris

have you tried with local auth ? it does not work ... in my lab ...it is also not documented that it should work with local auth .

thx

Did you change this command as well?

aaa authorization auth-proxy default group local

I've configured proxy-auth on a router to use the local user database; witch is very similar.  But I haven't attempted it for IP admission on a switch.  Perhaps it's not supported.

Chris

thx for the answer. Yes, I configured "aaa authorization auth-proxy default group local". I will try out proxy-auth ...thx, gilberto
