weird ICMP Ping output

Hi,

My customer is getting some outout that I've never seen on Pings.... have any of you seen this additive kind of ping response before? 1.35e+04 ms

It's just a scientific representation called the "E-notation".

Ex. These are all one and the same values:

1.460 s

1,460 ms

1.46 x 10^3 ms

1.46e+3 ms

Thank you!

So basically on the pings that I posted,

icmp_seq=10. time=4.47e+03 ms = a ping time of 4.470 seconds,

and

seq=7. time=7.47e+03 ms = a ping time of 7.47 seconds.

Is that right?
