Hi,

You can connect both MM and SM fibers to your switches and it entirely depends upon the GBISs;SFPs you have.

Thanks

Hi Hani,

Here is what you can do...

You have a mini gibic slots in all your 2960 and 3750 switches.
So you need to insert a SFP modules into those slots to get connect your multimode fiber.

I have designed the same kind of setup for one of my customer.
2960 accesslayer switches connect to 3750 distribution switches through fiber.

The following are the modules you need to insert in that minigibic slots...

Uplinks 10G Modules: SFP-10GB-SR/LRM
1G SFP fiber Module: GLC-SX-MM

I hope in your 3750 one interface support 10G SFP, then the interface you can use as a uplink to your core or between distribution if you have two for failover.

Hope the above clear and understand to you...

Please rate all the helpfull posts.
Regards,
Naidu.
