What does Minfail mean for STATUS of modules in CAT6500 switch

I have attached two show module outputs. One before replacing the module in slot 1 and one after. You will notice that the one before replacing module 1 shows that module 1 ( HW rev 2.2 ) has failed. After replacing the module 1 (our spare was HW 2.3) we get Minfail status not only for module 1 but also for module 2. I want to know what Minfail stands for and cannot find any information on this status.

Hi Alphonse

I suspect the "MinFail" status comes from:

%C6KENV-SP-4-MINORTEMPALARM: module 1 inlet temperature crossed threshold #1(=50C). It has exceeded normal operating temperature range.

%C6KENV-SP-4-MINORTEMPALARM: EARL 2/0 inlet temperature crossed threshold #1(=53C). It has exceeded normal operating temperature range.

So it seems a temperature problem. Cisco recommends:

Verify that air flow to the device is not blocked and that the fan is operational.
