what is a normal port (port with no pvlan config) behavior in a PVLAN segment

When looking at Private vlan documentation in the cisco and other sites, the discussion is always about the three port types for a private vlan - promiscuous, isolated, community. But what is the behavior of packet flow for a normal port that is NOT configured with any private vlan setting, and is part of the same Primary VLAN.

So the question is basically, will normal non-pvlan ports be able to communicate bi-directionaly with Promiscuous ports? and what about to isolated/community ports.

thanks in advance for your expert advice!
