What is the input rate limit/max on a vlan interface?

  Vlan1, as shown in the output below, is getting close to 1 Gbps and i'm worried that it will start to drop packets.  I know that physical interfaces have a speed limit of 100 or 10000 but what is the limit of a virtual interface (vlan1)?

Hi,

You can infer that the SVI rate is 1gig by looking to the bandwidth and delay vales, normally for 1gig interfaces you will see this:

#sh int gi 1/11 | i DLY

MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit, DLY 10 usec

And according to your output the SVI has the same bandwidth and delay that a physical 1gig port which are the default values assing to the physical ports.

There shouldn't be any (by default) bandwidth limit on a VLAN interface.

A VLAN interface's in and out bandwidth would be the aggregate of all the interfaces (on same device) that are part of the VLAN.
