Hi,

What is "Enet Aging" process, is it related to arp entries ?

snap is taken from WS-C3524-XL switch.

Switch>show proc memory | inc net

38 0 2598578824 3732664880 64076 1671800 304 Enet Aging

Switch>show proc cpu | inc net

38 1167079193 347782024 3355 0.73% 0.71% 0.71% 0 Enet Aging

Why this process using most of the memory & CPU?

Thanks in advance,

arul

It doesn't look like Enet Aging is taking much CPU or memory here. Only 0.71% CPU and holding 64076 memory.

This process is your mac address aging time

yes LED Control Proc, Port Status Proc takes most of the cpu. I hope this is normal behavior in 3524 switch as described in Cisco documentation. Thanks for the response.
