Hello,

There is no such command as "whatsnew". If you notice, in the document, they

created an alias for a different command and named it as "whatsnew"

"so I decided to make an alias for it with the alias exec whatsnew show

archive config differences nvram:startup-config system:running-config

configuration command."

I am assuming even your colleague might have set it up similarly. To see

what has changed, you need to use " show archive config differences

nvram:startup-config system:running-config" command.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

NT
