I have 2 switches C4506-E with SUP7-E, does anybody knows when Cisco will support the VSS functionality? I Have read that VSS will be supported in these switches and it be available Q32012, but Cisco has not confirmed when.
Any idea could be useful.
Thanks

Hi,
Per latest information I have, all E Series chassis and all existing line cards will be supported. You will need 10G ports (4606, 4712 or the 10G ports on Sup 7E) for the VSL link.
Kind Regards,
Ivan Shirshin
