Re: which is recomended switch

Hi All

can we choose the Cisco 6509 switch with Supervisor Engine 720.

please suggest.

does this model support L4 features?

Re: which is recomended switch

I think the sup 720 engine can only do layer 2/3 only. you can definately get lincards on the 6500 that can do layer 4 - 7.

pls rate if this helps.
