Which type of vpn am I using

Hi,

Using the "transform set" commands and the "crypto isakmp" commands which vpn does that make it is it ipsec, ssl vpn or gre?

If the above quewstion doesn't make sense can someone please point me toa basic explanantion of the differences?

Dan, given what you just told us, the answer is neither. Its an IPSec VPN.

That having been said, one can configure GRE with IPSec.

Post the entrire applicable configs for a more complete answer.

The transform-set is used to define the phase 2 policies for IPsec VPNs.
The crypto isakmp is used to implement the phase 1 policies for IPsec VPNs.

As lamav said, this is IPsec VPN.
If you need further information please explain.
