Why does a catalyst 6500 switch have install/run on the Power supply?

Does anyone know why the words Install/Run are listed on a 6500 power supply?

Hi Friend,

I believe you are talking about the Install/RUN near the knob on the power supply.

It is actually just an indication with arrow mark that when you have to install the power supply in the chassis your knob should be down and when it is inserted and running the knowb should be lock which indicates that it is running and power supply is lock.
